Click Fraud - Should we be worried?
With the rise of the Internet as a marketplace and the millions
of web sites out there, prospects more often than not 'google it'
to find what they are looking for. Therefore companies not only
optimise their site for 'natural' search positions but are increasingly
paying for positions - to appear in those all important top slots
for key search terms.
Unfortunately it would seem that those of us who pay for these
Ads are increasingly vulnerable to click fraud. Click fraud occurs
when an automated programme clicks on a company's advert, making
it look like a person has clicked from the search engine. Google
recently had to pay out thousands of dollars to companies who took
them to court as apparently they were not doing enough to prevent
it taking place.
So should the average advertiser be worried? I don't think anyone
knows just yet, but if you are interested click
here to read more articles about it.

With the recent hot weather, climate change and global warming is
on everyone's mind. The Internet is powered by thousands of servers
all of which contribute to the global warming situation.
Hosting companies are therefore in a position to look at ways they
can reduce the impact of this on the environment.
TempoWeb is currently in discussion with appropriate groups about
tree planting, for every new customer to ensure that we will give
back what we consume!
